Rune
Divination Wheel
Runes are an alphabetic script used by the Nordic and
Germanic tribes of Northern Europe from the first century until well
into the Middle Ages. A rune is not merely a letter in an old
Germanic alphabet, but it bears the primary definition of "secret"
or "mysteries." There were many different runic alphabets in use
throughout Northern Europe over the centuries. The most common is the
Germanic or Elder Futhark. In addition to their use as a written
alphabet, the runes also served as a system of symbols used for magic
and divination.
How This Works:
1. Choose a number from 1-24
2. You may
ask yourself a question
that you would like answered. The more specific the question, the more
sense the answer will make. If you
choose not to ask a question, this will
give you an indication as to what may be going on subconsciously.
3. Look at the rune wheel and
put your finger on the first symbol you are
drawn to. (Do not think about it - look
at the wheel and point. This is the
symbol, which represents your needs most, today.
Look up what this symbol represents.
4. Now
count in a clockwise direction, each
symbol, with the number you chose. This will reveal a
possible problem or difficulty you are
encountering.
Look up what this symbol represents.
5. Now
continue in a clockwise direction, each
symbol, (from the symbol you are currently on) with the number you
chose, again. This will tell you the
possible solution for the future.
Look up what this symbol represents
The best Runes are often made from flat stone
that you can easily get on the beach, however if you are unable to get
such stones, any other group of flat stones will do as long as you get
them from as close to nature as possible. If you do not have access to
such stones, pieces of wood will also do the most important things is
that they should be able to hold the signs that will be made on them.
You will find enough resources on how to make your stones into a tool of
divination on the internet and you can start using them to help others
in no time.
